Belief

I believe the world is getting better. It is far from perfect, but also far from absolute ruin. I believe we can make so many little miracles happen with our own faith, that God and all the angels of the heavens and earth will not have to intervene because of a horrible extreme emergency. I believe deep deep down, everybody wants to believe these things too. Once we start to believe anything else, we allow ourselves to glimpse horror after horror as evil multiplied by evil, and we fall under the idea that any high tide in evil is only the beginning of an exponential curve that will only end with mass destruction on social, economic, environmental, spiritual and physical levels.

I believe that is a spirit of fear that others too often bear, and try to share that burden with us. I believe it is time to take a high road of faith. I believe it is time to believe in God, His Angels, and ourselves as instruments of miracles, instruments of glory, instruments of love. I believe it is time to say that the dawn is ever before us, this sunrise will last for an eternity. I believe we should look at that sunrise, seemingly frozen in our minds as a future event, and realize that it is coming, and everything is being flooded with a brilliant light full of life, love, and hope. I believe it is time for humankind to lay down our heavy burden of fear and hatred, and embrace Eternal Hope, with a smile.
