Choose Your Destiny
I remember those words on the top of the screen when I started to play a Mortal Kombat game once. Years ago. Of course, you choose between four options, from left to right increasing in difficulty. Hmm, how hard to I want things to be? For the most part, I want only a slight little tiny bit of a challenge, and a lot of fun. Which is why I'm working on the way I act and live in these days. There are millions of people out of work in these days, and yet literally thousands of people who are working desperately, in a situation where they are paid too little, and work far too hard. It is time to make a positive change on this. If there is no other way, then to simply pray, meditate, and connect with God to create the shift from this 'reality' to a different one, one we'd rather experience. Less work, more pay, and perhaps less worry and stress but more fun! Let's turn things around. Work for three or four hours a day, get plenty to eat/drink/wear, and enjoy the rest of the day! Have enough money for games, movies, music, pictures, power, water, gas, and high speed internet! Let's build cars to last centuries with almost no maintenance, and sell one to each customer in their lifetime. Let's build everything to last, last, last and be enjoyed by future generations who won't have to work eighty hours in a forty hour work week to enjoy it on their vacation, the day they lose their jobs and start looking for work. I'm looking for work, I'm filling out two applications at least today, but I'm also taking the time to meditate, to use the abilities we are born with to imagine and bring to life a brighter, better future for all of us. I can do it for hours today, or tomorrow, and every day until I get a job. Any one without a job can spend time seeking a better life for all of humankind. It isn't hard! Simply thinking about it and daydreaming about it can 'seep' intention into the universe and work quantum physics magic! My last job was horrible to me. Too much to do, and I had no inspiration to do it within only 8 hours. I needed regular breaks, constant food and drink, music to 'soothe' me... I was far from excited to be there most days. As much as I loved everyone I worked with, and as much as I need a source of income... that was the last time I want that to happen. I'm going to trust God to help me wait for the right job this time. I was in this position last year, and I think it has been a position I've lived in over and over again since I left the military. I can live for a few months looking for work. I want to really build my own business though. For that I'll need some more money though... but it'll work out, I know it will. Use your gifts, even those you don't know you have. Don't doubt them. Hang onto life with all the joy, hope, love, and faith you can. You may hit rock bottom, and bounce off as you realize you can fly.

I feel like I've hit rock bottom and would LOVE to bounce back and Fly! But in the real world, gravity would just bring us back down again. I prayed and did find my dream job. I've worked there for nine years (April 4, 2000 - present) and could not ask for a better group of people to work with. I prayed for a job with no stress, no deadlines and 9-5. So, I have all but I work 8-4, can't complain about that! So don't give up. God teaches us patience by making us wait until he chooses to give us our answered prayer. Remember though, sometimes it may not be the answer you are expecting so you have to meditate to make sure that you are actually listening to God's will and not yours. Good luck finding the dream job.
Let me try this again...I feel like I've hit rock bottom and would LOVE to bounce back and Fly! But in the real world, gravity would just bring us back down again. I prayed and did find my dream job.
